Daniel Yallop and Callum Warford have completed the first year of their apprenticeship and will be awarded certificates for EAL Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Composite Engineering covering units on:

  • Working efficiently and effectively in engineering
  • Wet lay-up laminating techniques
  • Quality control, checking for defects in composite mouldings

Callum will also receive his certificate for Functional Skills in English at Level 2.

The certificates will be presented by Andy Barnard from S4P (Solutions 4 Polymers Ltd) – our Training Providers working in conjunction with the College of West Anglia.

They are now four months into their EAL Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Composite Engineering which will reach completion in 2017, and will incorporate units on ‘Spray Laminating & RTM’ as well as ‘Preparing & Using Industrial Robots & Principles’ and ‘Control of Computer Automated & Robotic Systems’.
